June 2019 President’s Message
Greetings fellow WMBA members and soon to be WMBA members. The energy from our celebration party on May 20th is still in the air. What a night! For those of you who missed it, we celebrated our 30th Year Anniversary of WMBA being in existence and we launched our Annual Directory for the 2019-2020 season with the unveiling of the Cover following by a mass distribution of the directory to everyone in attendance. We also recognized 3 icons in WMBA history for the continued support and volunteerism over the years. We recognized Steven J. Weil, owner of RMS Accounting, Virginia Flaherty, owner of About Town Lock & Safe, and Joe Pallant, owner of Pallant Insurance Agency, Inc. All 3 were present and seemed very excited to receive this recognition. The night was truly a special occasion. We’ll continue to celebrate our 30 year anniversary throughout the rest of this year.
The next issue of Business Connection, our quarterly newsletter, comes out later this month. If you want to advertise, please contact Peter Jackson at Peter@PeterJackson.media ASAP! Time is running out! Your business card ad is only $40 an issue. The newsletter is distributed throughout Wilton Manors and is mailed to the all of the local businesses. Where: Stonewall National Museum & Archives, 2157 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, FL 33305
When: 6-7:30 PM
Cost: WMBA Members- FREE, Future WMBA Members- $10
Food & Drinks: There will be appetizers provided and a donation bar.
Parking: Parking along the drive is done via the app Park Mobile. There is ample parking across the street in the City Hall Parking Lot where you can pay via the app or the ticket machines at a rate of $1.50 per hour

Where: Symmetry Fitness, 412 E. Oakland Park Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334
When: 11:30-12 pm networking, 12-1 pm Healthy Buffet Luncheon (PLEASE RSVP for accurate count)
Cost: WMBA Members- $15, Future WMBA Members- $20
Parking- Free Parking in and around the entire plaza.
