Tim is an Ohio native and a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He spent two decades in the banking industry in the Midwest including senior positions at Fifth Third Bank, PNC and Bank of America before moving to Fort Lauderdale almost five years ago.  He is currently a senior relationship manager with FlashBanc, a leader in the electronic payments industry, and works with many merchants in and around Wilton Manors, providing them with merchant processing services and excellent customer service. He is also a member of the Proud Speakers, a Toastmasters group that meets weekly at the Pride Center. He has been a member of WMBA for the past four years. 

Vice President

Julietta graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a degree in Physical Therapy. She is co-owner of Ocean Therapy Center where she and her staff help people get out of pain and back to doing the things they love. She is is an international instructor of therapy techniques. She has been a member of WMBA since moving her clinic to Wilton Manors in 2015. She is happy to be part of the board and working together with other business owners of the community to help each other achieve success.


Tim has over 30 years’ accounting and finance experience including 10 years with KPMG, one the world’s largest international public accounting firms. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Accountancy, Economics and Business Administration from Thomas More College, and has been a certified public accountant since 1984. He heads R3 Accounting LLC. He has extensive experience dealing with SEC and other regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, back and front office systems implementations for small- to medium-sized businesses, business consulting with small public and private companies and their executives and various other accounting, finance and tax services.


Vanessa was born in Saco, Maine and attended Penn State University, majoring in pre-medicine. When it became clear that she wanted to pursue chiropractic, she transferred to New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. Upon graduating magna cum laude in 1994, Vanessa returned home to Maine where she practiced for two years and then relocated to Fort

Lauderdale in 1997. She then worked as an associate chiropractor, during which time she met Dr. Kathy Schklair. They opened Island City Chiropractic in Wilton Manors in 2004.


Justin was born and raised in Woburn, Mass., a small town 15 minutes north of Boston. After spending many vacations in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Justin decided to make Florida his permanent residence in April 2013. The owner of Bayview Payroll Services, he has more than 13 years’ experience processing complex payrolls for a variety of companies including franchisors and software developers. He’s an avid fitness enthusiast as well as a music lover. Justin is on the membership Committee for BNI Premier, is a trustee member for Go Riverwalk, and just began serving on the board of WMBA. He lives in Imperial Point with his 


Jeff is a prominent Fort Lauderdale attorney and the owner of Selzer Law, where his practice is concentrated in Trust & Will Administration, Probate & Trust Litigation and Estate Planning. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies (combining majors in History & Political Science) at Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass., in 1981, followed by his Juris Doctor at the University of Florida School of Law in Gainesville in 1984. Jeff is an active and involved member of the Wilton Manors community and serves as the Chancellor on the board of WMBA.

Past President

Karl, a past president of WMBA, serves as the Executive Assistant at Poverello Center where he reports to the CEO, assisting with the oversight of all the departments. Originally from upstate New York, Karl lived in Sarasota, Florida, where he worked for Ringling College of Arts and Design before moving to Wilton Manors in 2000.  He returned to college for a Legal Assisting degree and worked for several years at a law firm. He later used his business skills and knowledge of exotic tropical plants to manage Landscape Solutions. He is an active volunteer on several boards and serves as Advisory Board Chair for the City of Wilton Manors Park and Recreation Dept.


Peter is an entrepreneur, business consultant and sales coach whose specialties are revenue growth, product development and business turnarounds. A trained journalist, his 30-year career in media ran the gamut from owning niche publishing companies to experience on a national level working, and later consulting, for community media groups. He retired from media in 2009 and moved to Fort Lauderdale, where he built three fitness-related businesses in 7 years before returning to executive positions in media. Today, Peter is a much sought-after business coach and consultant, especially in the fitness and media industries. He is a founding member of the World AIDS Museum.


Tony began his career as an architect, developing design strategies and branding for global cosmetics and fashion retailers as well as commercial centers. Since his move to Wilton Manors from New York City, Tony has been active in community endeavors. As the Vice Chairman of the Wilton Manors Economic Development Task Force as well as a member of the Wilton Drive Improvement District, Tony has imparted his expertise and energy toward making Wilton Manors a global destination.


A Florida resident since 2002, Travis is a veteran in the insurance and financial services industry with over 25 years’ experience and is passionate about serving his clients. He is an active member of the community and is affiliated with Broward 2-1-1, Greyhound Pet Adoption of FL/SE, and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, as well as the Wilton Manors Business Association. You may see him out and about with his retired greyhounds, or at an event supporting our community.
