WILTON MANORS BUSINESS ASSOCIATION LAUNCHES SURVEY, ANNOUNCES TOWN HALL MEETING
The Wilton Manors Business Association has launched an online survey and scheduled a
live Town Hall event, both aimed at identifying and addressing issues facing the city’s
business community.

The Town Hall meeting takes place on Monday, August 12 at the Hagen Park Community
Center (located behind City Hall) at 6 p.m. and is open to all business owners and other
interested parties. Free for everyone

“The cornerstones of a healthy, vibrant local economy are communication and cooperation
between business owners and city government,” said Tim Moffitt, WMBA president. “Our
goal is to clearly understand and itemize the issues facing the business community and
work with city officials to resolve them.”

Moffitt said he hoped community leaders and business owners will share not only their
concerns, “but also positive ideas and potential solutions. The climate will be one of
fostering a feeling of community by bringing everyone together for the common good of
Wilton Manors. We’re all in this together.”

In advance of the Town Hall meeting, the 250-member business association, currently
celebrating its 30th anniversary, has launched a 10-question online survey. It can be found
